Looking Good & Feeling Great Has Never Been This Easy

You’ve seen MY favorites already. Now that I’ve seen the collection on lots of different women, I thought it would be fun to share the pieces they keep trying on, loving and taking home.

This is the one women tell me they absolutely do not need. Then they try it on... and order it. :-) It really does feel that luxurious.

The faux mink is incredibly soft and has a beautiful richness and dimension to it. The bomber silhouette keeps it modern rather than overly dressy, with a funnel neck, subtle shoulder pads, elastic at the cuffs and hem, and wonderfully practical inseam pockets. It’s fully lined too.

For me, though, it’s what happens when you put it on. It is insanely classy and immediately elevates whatever you’re wearing underneath. Jeans, trousers, a dress... it really doesn’t need much help.

Just like the Legend, I rarely have to encourage anyone to try this one on. Most women arrive already knowing they want to see the Marlowe!

It’s a gorgeous Downtown Brown faux suede that gives you the richness and look of suede without the maintenance. It’s fully lined but still fairly lightweight, with an easy fit, subtle shoulder pads and a high-hip length that makes it very easy to wear.

And versatile is the word here. Wear it with denim, winter white, over a blouse or sweater, or with something dressier. It has enough polish to finish an outfit without ever feeling overly structured. Perfect for everyday wear.

The Daphne really does speak for herself. It’s 100% cashmere, wonderfully soft and lightweight, and one of those luxurious basics that can quietly do a lot of work in your wardrobe.

But the color is what gets everyone. This fabulous hot pink is what we call a cosmetic color because it seems to light up the face. I have seen it on so many different women now, and it really is fantastic.

The easy fit, crewneck and drop shoulder make it relaxed enough to wear alone, but it’s lightweight enough to slip beautifully under jackets and cardigans too.

I might just call this the magic jean, as almost every woman who tries it on ends up wanting it!

It’s our slim boyfriend fit, so you get that relaxed, easy feel without looking like you borrowed someone else’s jeans. The mid rise and gently tapered leg seem to hit a particularly flattering sweet spot on lots of different bodies.

The Lake Wash is also incredibly easy to work into a wardrobe. And with three inseams, 26" short, 29" regular and 32" long, we have much more flexibility in getting the proportions right for you.

Simply put, this blouse is SO pretty on everyone.

The watercolor floral has blue, goldenrod, orange, soft gray, purple and hints of pink and red, which is exactly why it works with so many colors already sitting in your wardrobe. Pair it with denim, brown, gray, winter white, black, burgundy... you’ll keep finding partners for it.

It has an easy fit in a soft crepe, with a flattering band collar into a V-neck, subtle shirring at the shoulders and long sleeves with those fabulous magic cuffs. It’s feminine without being fussy, and wonderfully light and fluid on the body.

Honestly, sometimes all I have to do is pass this around the room. Once everyone touches it, they want to try it on!

The lilac is absolutely beautiful and very much part of this fall’s softer pastel story. It looks fabulous paired with the deeper neutrals we’re seeing this season, especially chocolate, charcoal and black.

It’s technically an easy fit, with a crewneck and raglan sleeves that finish above the elbow with a gentle flare. Many of my clients are going down a size because they prefer it a bit more fitted or body-skimming. It’s a very simple piece, but the fabric, color and shape make it feel anything but basic.

30" inseam

This pant seems to catch everyone’s eye before I even get around to talking about it.

At first glance it looks like a beautiful winter-white corduroy, but the baby-wale fabric is actually 98% cotton with 2% spandex, so you get texture without the heaviness or bulk of traditional corduroy.

It’s a mid-rise, slim fit with a straight leg, which is such an important silhouette this fall. And winter white is one of my favorite ways to break up all those darker fall colors. Wear these with brown, camel, gray, burgundy, black, denim... they brighten the whole outfit while still looking completely right for the season.

There’s something about this top. It hangs beautifully, the darker floral is incredibly easy to wear, and the colors seem to work on everyone.

It has an easy fit with a V-neck, band collar and baby tucks at the neckline, so it falls away from the body rather than clinging. And because the floral is on a darker ground, you can almost treat it as a neutral and pair it with all sorts of pieces.

There’s another reason to love this one. It’s a Heart of cabi piece, which means it’s pretty with a purpose. Proceeds support the work of the cabi Foundation, helping women in need through clothing donations and economic opportunities around the world.

26" Inseam on the pant.

These are absolutely flying off the shelves, and once you get your hands on the fabric, you’ll understand why.

The fabric is a wonderfully soft blend of modal, polyester and spandex. My description? It feels a bit like wearing silky, fleecy pajamas, except you absolutely DO NOT look as though you’re wearing pajamas. :-)

Together they make the ultimate set and are equally fabulous for lounging at home, running around town or getting on a plane, train or in the automobile! Separately, they become even more useful. The relaxed cowl looks fabulous with jeans or trousers, while the pant can easily take a sweater, blouse or jacket.

The pant is mid rise with an easy tapered leg and a subtly curved shape, so it feels current without being extreme. The ankle length keeps the whole silhouette clean. Comfortable clothes that actually look polished? Yes please.

This one is almost a no-brainer. The London was our most popular pant last fall, and cabi wisely brought the silhouette back in this fabulous smoky Mockingbird color.

It’s intentionally an easy, wide-leg fit, designed to be worn lower and somewhat slouchy. That’s the fashion look. However, most of my clients are preferring to go down a size and wear it a bit more fitted, and it works beautifully that way too.

It’s 98% cotton with 2% spandex and comes in three inseams: 28" short, 31" regular and 34" long. The smoky wash has subtle highs and lows that make it much more interesting than a flat neutral, while still making it incredibly easy to pair.

This is an incredibly flattering high-rise, wide-leg jean that is slim through the waist and hips before opening into that long, elongating leg. It uses cabi’s super-stretch denim, so you get that fabulous fitted look through the upper body without sacrificing comfort.

They love the Austin Wash. It sits somewhere between a light and dark wash, which makes it different from the denim most of them already own.

And the three lengths make a big difference with a wide-leg jean: 28" short, 31" regular and 34" long. Getting that hemline right is what really lets the Drew work its leg-lengthening magic.
